POSTPONED - LOOK FOR UPDATES IN EARLY APRIL

Timely and poignant, RISK AREAS explores the permeable tension between personal and public / natural and man-made disasters. Through constructions and photographs, Olivier Bodart evokes four catastrophes as documented by an imaginary FEMA investigator. Rare Nest will premier this ambitious, ongoing project in a special exhibition - complemented by constructive programming on the environment, climate change and species protection. 

Born in Paris in 1971, Olivier Bodart graduated with a degree in graphic design from the École Supérieure Estienne and then in art sciences from Sorbonne University. He taught visual arts in Paris for fifteen years before moving to Chicago in 2012. Olivier now shares his time between the Windy City, Paris, and Palm Springs.
